Headstrong and Esperanza are hosting a one-day outing on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008, at IslandWood Outdoor Learning Center on Bainbridge Island for youth and families recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Recovering youth and young adults with TBI and Headstrong companions will be guided by IslandWood staff for a hands-on experience of IslandWood programs at the lake and art studio. Parents, therapists, and others will be given a tour of IslandWood and will begin planning to host a TBI respite/renewal camp at IslandWood beginning summer 2009. For more info in IslandWood Camp>>
