Our Work

HeadStrong supports children and young adults living with brain injury by offering engaging social and outdoor events, online trainings, and totes bags for families and youth in the hospitals.

We foster positive communities around families and youth to support recovery and rebuild wonderful lives.

Events & Activities

HeadStrong collaborates with Outdoors for All and other community partners to host great adaptive outings, including bicycling, kayaking, music, and art.  All ages and abilities, friends and family are welcome.

Headstrong Trainings

Headstrong trainings teach powerful communication and support skills to the whole team. Program content includes rebuilding identity, conflict resolution, meaningful projects and activities.

Hospital Tote Program

HeadStrong collaborates with Harborview Medical Center (HMC) Pediatric ICU (PICU) to connect with families and youth who have suffered a brain injury.

Families receive our HeadStrong Tote Bag, filled with personal care items, snacks, water bottles, notebooks, pens, universal charging cords, educational materials, and resources.
